Ego/Alter Ego

1969 or '70 Talking Astronaut G.I. Joe, from a time when G.I. Joes were moving away from being "war toys" to being the "G.I. Joe Adventure Team," a sort of band of international troubleshooters, during the anti-war movement circa Vietnam. Neil Armstrong walking on the moon, and all the kids wanting to be there (me included)... And next to Joe is the Universal Monsters Wolfman, of course. Heh.
